Urban Photography Contest with the prize of $18,000

Entries are now open for the international photography contest Urban Photo Awards 2022. The competition is aimed at urban photography (streets, people and city environments) and is open to amateur and professional photographers.

The application for most categories are paid, but whoever wants to send only one photograph is free to participate. The total prize pool is $18,000, including a Fujifilm X-E4 mirrorless camera with an XF 27mm lens.

The contest is open to everyone and is organized into 3 categories: Individual Photos, Series (Projects and Portfolios) and URBAN Book Award. Participants can participate in more than one section at the same time. The general theme of the contest is Urban Life: Urban Photography (all types of photography set in the fabric of the city).

At the center of the competition is the City, the urban environment and the humanity that lives in it: the daily life of big and small cities, the contrasts and contradictions between the city and the countryside, the aesthetic visions, the architectural geometries, the fragments of color breaking the gray of the city. Real, immediate images, capable of telling the City and its stories.

To send 1 photo for FREE to URBAN 2022 just sign “Free photo” next to the image in the User Area. Entries can be made until May 31, 2022 on the contest website: www.urbanphotoawards.com. See some photos below to inspire your look:
